Based in Rwanda, we provide professional German courses tailored to your goals, whether academic, professional, or personal.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to make German language learning accessible and engaging while supporting you in achieving certification and fluency for global opportunities.
We help students in Rwanda and beyond achieve their German language goals, from basic communication to advanced fluency.
We aim to provide:
- Comprehensive language instruction.
- Expert exam preparation for ÖSD certification.
- Skills to succeed in academic or professional environments.
At Be Ubuntu German, we believe that learning a new language should be an enjoyable, rewarding process, opening doors to exciting opportunities in travel, work, and study.
Qualifications
2006 – 2009
Organized seminars and workshops promoting cultural understanding and diversity.
2009 – 2010
Collaborated in a community project with the Don Bosco Sisters in Lesotho, teaching and empowering local communities.
2011 – 2014
Studied African Studies at the University of Vienna.
2015 – 2017
Developed integration projects and identity workshops for refugees, while teaching German at the Manzoni High School in Terni, Italy.
2017 – 2019
Trained as a DaF/DaZ specialist, teaching German and supporting migrant integration in Austria.
2019 – 2020
Founded Love Instead of Sugar in South Africa, combining education and health promotion.
2021 – 2022
Conducted German lessons and organized diversity workshops in Austria through Create Ubuntu
2022 – 2023
Trained learners in German through “die Berater.
2023 – Present
Promoting extremism prevention through workshops on discrimination and identity in Austrian schools in partnership with Grenzenlos.
2024 – Present
Teaching German at the Higher Institute of Health in Ruli, Rwanda, and establishing the Be Ubuntu German Institute in Kigali.
