Course Levels

• A1 (Beginner):

  • Communication Skills:
    • Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases aimed at satisfying concrete needs.
    • Introduce yourself and others; ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know, and things you have.
  • Grammar Focus:
    • Basic sentence structures, present tense conjugation, personal pronouns.
  • Vocabulary Themes:
    • Greetings, numbers, time, family, shopping, and daily routines.

• A2 (Elementary):

  • Communication Skills:
    • Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g., personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
    • Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar matters.
  • Grammar Focus:
    • Past tense (Perfekt), separable verbs, modal verbs.
  • Vocabulary Themes:
    • Food and drink, hobbies, travel, health, and education.

• B1 (Intermediate):

  • Communication Skills:
    • Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
    • Deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling in an area where the language is spoken.
    • Produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
  • Grammar Focus:
    • Future tense, reflexive verbs, relative clauses.
  • Vocabulary Themes:
    • Workplace, environment, media, technology, and culture.

• B2 (Upper Intermediate):

  • Communication Skills:
    • Understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in your field of specialization.
    • Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
    • Produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
  • Grammar Focus:
    • Passive voice, subjunctive mood, complex sentence structures.
  • Vocabulary Themes:
    • Politics, economy, science, literature, and advanced conversational topics.
